Panasonic has launched a single SIM Panasonic Eluga U2 smartphone that comes powered by a 64bit qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor and this handset is running Android 5 out of the box. The Eluga U2 is available in Taiwan for TWD 8K (approx Rs. 16K).

This handset houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64 bit quad core processor (MSM8916) with 4G LTE support. Android Lollipop runs out of the box over a 5 inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is 2GB on board RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with micro SD card support.

The Panasonic Eluga U2 handset is 7.95mm thick and it’s weight with battery is 131 grams. The main primary camera is with a 13 megapixel resolution (F2.0 aperture), it’s auto focus using BSI sensor with LED flash support and front secondary camera is with a 5MP resolution.

Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The 2500 mAh battery comes built in. There is no word about the Global launch, and if and when it will be made available in India.
