NXG electronics started the low cost tab journey via the Xtab A10 and then they launched the Xtab A10 plus and now they are going a bit further with the 3G version of Xtab, priced at Rs. 12,490.
The Xtab Plus version and the latest 3G version are not so price friendly. NXG is currently offering a discount of Rs. 500 for advance booking. The Xtab 3G sports the same 7 inch screen with 5 point capacitive touch experience over an 800×480 pixels resolution.
The Xtab 3G does not come with Allwinner CPU, instead it houses the Samsung S5PV210 ARM Cortex-A8 Processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 512MB RAM (DDR2). The internal storage is 4GB. This tab is 13.5 mm thin and weighs around 390 grams with battery.
The Graphics processor used is SGX540 @ 307 MHz. This tab comes with built in 3G. You can use any SIM card on this Tab and enjoy 3G connection on the move. NXG website does not mention if the tab can be used as a phone, so I am not sure about the phone functionality. When compared with the Wammy plus this seems a better option as it comes with built in Bluetooth.
There is also a GPS which you can use with 3G and Google Maps. You get full access to Google play and the 3600 mAh li-ion battery gives a usage time of about 4 to 5 hours.

The price of Rs. 12,490 seems a bit high especially with a 7 inch screen and resolution of 800×480 pixels. A bigger screen or a better resolution could have done justice to the price tag. More info on NXG website.

Hi, i had brought NXG xtab 3G. I am very much happy with the product , its good in all respects.
I love to buy this tab because I check all specification and I speak on sales inquiry number. I am totally satisfied with the product and its price now Price of this product is Rs.9990/- so I can buy it easily it is in my budget.
Anyone has used this tab? please provide a review for us I am planning to get this tab is it good quality?

Nxg is highly unreliable company. I have bought a nxg product. Half of the functions of tab stopped working after two months. For review they may be good, but practically they fail to last past few months, with all functions working, especially like the micro
usb port. Capacitive stylus will not work on their cheap chinese screens.better go for samsung, and save your money.
Nxg team is even worse than their products :(
They will give you false consoling answers rather than technical suggestions.your problem isn’t solved, and you kept calling them, they will not answer you at all!
I request all guys to stay away from nxg. They are totally unreliable.
I have a very bad experience with both, their product and team..
They are always busy in cheating new customers, rather than helping the old ones, to whom they forget conveniently.
I bought this tab before a few days. The main objective was gaming on the SGX540 GPU as most of the 3D games available out there are made for this GPU. In a few days use it has fulfilled all my expectations. The response of Samsung processor at 1.2GHz is very good. It certainly beats my other allwinner a10 tab(iberry). Yes it can make calls and messages, GPS also works great. My only complaint is it should have been a little slimmer.

1. if it can make voice calls and SMS, both through a SIM card or not ?
2. The 3G dongles for USB will work with all the brands and also, can it be used for calling and SMS ?
3. The performance of NXG Xtab 3G ?
