Powered by the latest Symbian Belle OS the Nokia 701 houses a 1 GHz processor. This is a perfect smartphone that anyone would want to own, with just one exception i.e. if they are comfortable with the Belle OS.
Display and Dimensions
The Nokia 701 is of dimension56.8 x 117.2 x 11 mm and weighs 131 grams. The full touchscreen LCD clear black display is 3.5 inches supporting excellent resolution of 640 x 360 pixels (16 M colours). The display features the IPS technology which improves poor viewing angle by enhancing the colour reproduction (160° viewing angle). The IPS technology is widely used in high end monitors.
You will find two camera on the Nokia 701 the secondary front facing camera with a 0.3 megapixel resolution is for making video calls, video chat or taking portrait (self) pictures and the back facing primary camera with a 8 megapixel resolution with 3rd generation dual LED flash for capturing high quality images.
There are quite a few handsets that offer an 8 MP resolution which is simply awesome. Dual LED helps get better picture in low light conditions. You can record HD videos in 1280 x 720 pixels resolution at 30 frames per second.

Entertain yourself listing to music MP3, eAAC+ formats or watching videos in H.263, H.264 and MP4 formats with the built in media player.
