When Micromax Andro A60 was launched people were excited, the A60 had all the feature and the only thing unbelievable was the price. Micromax has taken that excitement to another level with the Micromax A70 Android phone. The Micromax A70 runs on the Google Android Froyo 2.2 OS and some of the specification is the same as compared with the A60. The main highlight is the 5 megapixel camera.
Micromax A70 Features
The Micromax A60 had kind of weird design for ergonomic grip, but the Micromax A70 has got a symmetrical shape, the trend that is followed in most high end smartphones. The Micromax A70 too houses the same processor as its predecessor which is the Qualcomm 600 Mhz which works flawlessly and smoothly.
The full touch screen (capacitive) display is large enough of size 3.2 inches and supports 320×480 pixels resolution. Multi touch is supported. As far as connectivity is concerned the Micromax A70 supports 3G, EDGE and GPRS with per-loaded Twitter, Orkut and Facebook apps. These social networking apps can be accessed directly from the home screen with a single tap.
Even at such a low cost there are two features that has amazed me. The first is a 5 megapixel camera and a secondary VGA camera for video calling. The second feature is the built-in GPS with A-GPS support. If you truly want to enjoy an Android phone with most of the features at an affordable cost then the Micromax A70 is what you are looking for.
Other exciting feature is the MiFi option where in the mobile phone turns into a pocket wireless Internet and other Wi-Fi devices can access it. With 3G HSDPA you can access net with speed up to 7.2 Mbps.
Other features are Audio / Video player, video streaming / recording and built in FM radio. 1450 mAh Li-ion Battery powers the Micromax A70 android phone. Expect a talk time of up to 4 hours and a standby time of about 7 days.
Micromax A70 Price
Micromax A70 comes for a price of just Rs. 7,590 sounds unbelievable but true. The A70 will surely blow you away.
