Karbonn A24 is the next in line from Karbonn Mobiles probably hitting the Indian markets in August. There are many new killer features that will make the A24 the best buy, this includes the price too.
Still waiting for the Spice Mi-500 well there is more to come, the Karbonn A24 is way ahead and Spice did make a mistake by delaying the launch. Karbonn claims that the A24 smartphone display (960×540 pixels) will be something as better as what you see on the iPhone 4S, WOW!.
Add to it the default OS loaded is the latest Jelly Bean or Android 4.1. The A24 is also being termed as a Phablet (Tablet + Phone) but I don’t think the category fit here, especially when you look at the screen size with is just 4.5 inches, big enough but a 5 inch screen could have made a difference. I call it, the min Phablet.
There is more on the A24, to start with it will come loaded with all the necessary features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth GPS etc. If you are still not impressed with it, then the 8 MP rear autofocus camera, plus a front camera for video calling, could change your mind. This phone will support 3G (no 4G yet), GPRS and EDGE. A dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz will meet your expectations.

You will agree that the Karbonn A24 specifications are too good, well now for the price it’s under Rs. 13,000. I was planning to buy the Spice Mi-500, but I have changed my mind, I will wait for the A24. Expect the Karbonn A24 review as soon as I get a hand on it, unless something better than this is launched, at a competitive price, of course.

It seems the company may never launch a24, it might just be a hoax to threaten its competitors, if it were not a hoax what would be the reason to delay it for more than 4 months.

Only thing which i consider worth buying in karbon a24 is its propagated 1 gb ram, this size makes these low cost phone my favorite.

I think its a rumor but some say 4.1 having a bug and they are releasing next ver which will be named jelly bean as well. I think karbonn is waiting for this update for releasing A24.

Karbonn is a very good Indian manufacturer. I bought A9+, its build quality is extremely good and the performance is smooth. Snapdragon dual core processor done a good job minor con is camera quality. I have one doubt gogi sir will it get Jelly Bean update? I am also eagerly waiting for karbonn A24, plz reply.

No, prakasa rao, don’t go for karbonn a21. It’s features are extremely good but the matter is speed. Even though it has got a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor which is the same as karbonn a24, the ram doesn’t support it. While you run a program or an app, the two processor (ie the dual core processor) will take each some amount of space from the ram to run a single app. So you cant run 2 apps fast. To run it fast in a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor it should at least have 768 MB of ram. The k-a21 has only 512 MB of ram whereas the k-24 has 1 GB ram.
hi Gogi, I have bought A21, although i have no experience of smartphone but for browsing i found Karbonn A21 ok. But if their is any moving object, camera quality of this is not good at all. kindly suggest any application to improve the camera quality.
Neeraj, for moving object camera is no good, it is the case on all smartphones. For better picture you can try using the different modes and manually try selecting scene modes – I mean avoid auto detect mode where possible. See if you get better results. Outdoor the camera quality should be excellent, indoors not that good.
Karbonn a24 is never gonna comes out…oh by the way I’m gonna buy galaxy note 2 after 2 days…and there is nothing better bigger greater than galaxy note 2 right now…not even i phone 5

Had a bad experience with micromax funbook, and can't wait any longer for a24, but have reservation try in mmx a110 coz its hard wares and ram just freeze I don't wanna trust mmx, or try spice!

I also have burnt my hands by purchasing Micromax A85, but now all in my family have Micromax, my kids have Micromax Funbook, my wife and Brother have A90 and I have A110, all are working well, so it is possible that you might have had faced a problem in funbook, which can happen to any product and any brand, MMX is doing very good has beaten all in many aspects and is now India’s 3rd largest Mobile Company according to an article in Hindustan Times Mumbai edition published on 5th of November 2012. So believe me MMX is good, until you star don’t match with the brand and the other product that you buy also has a problem(

Mahesh, Nothing yet, A24 is still rumored it may or may not happen. The A21 seems close to what A24 was to house.

Satish, wait for few days also the A110 from Micromax will be available wait for its review and then choose. You can easily get a dual core for under Rs. 15K.
