Now iBall now joins the Phablet bandwagon in India by launching their iBall Andi 5C a 5 inch android ICS smartphone or Phablet with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The price is identical to the Micromax A90 handset.
As of now there is the Micromax A100, Wammy Note and upcoming Mercury MagiQ all of these handsets sports a 5inch capacitive touchscreen. The iBall Andi 5C is powered by 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and comes with IPS display running Android 4.0 OS.
It has got a super sleek and stylish design and ‘Features packed in a Stylish Gizom’ is iBall’s way to define this product. The touchscreen will be super responsive and smoother than other 5 inch brands. The display resolution is 800×480 pixels.
An auto focus camera is placed on the back with LED support and a front 0.3 VGA camera. The camera quality will be similar to as seen on MM A100. Other features are 3G with HSUPA / HSDPA support of 5.7 and 7.2 Mbps respectively. EDGE and GPRS is also supported. There is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, g-sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, GPS, USB and 3.5 audio port.

Linpack = 30.7 MFLOPS in single thread, 35 MFLOPS in multi thread tests.

is this good enough bench mark ?

I just now did benchmark test again (cause each time the results will be different but near about a particular AVG range) on my Micromax A90 and the score was.
AntuTu = 3501
Quadrant = 2100.
Linpack – 29.73 (single)
Linpack – 24.81 (Multi)
Do you have any info on the chipset used and the GPU?
Please Review this iball Andi 5c as soon as possible coz we are eagerly waiting for your hands on review please make it as soon as possible

Given that price up to 15000 is not an issue .Bigger and better screen, very good battery and GPS with AGPS is the main requirement , which 5 inch or 5 Inch + phone/phablet will you suggest ?I need to buy one before 2nd September.

No there are the 5 inch and a jump to 7 inch. The Samsung galaxy Note is 5.3 inches but way above the budget.

I will go with A100, price is just too high for Andi.
Of-course the price will be high, because they've (we've) to pay Kareena Kapoor too as she's endorsing this product.
Looking at the specs, A18 seems to be a decent device. 1GB RAM is definitely the selling point. But the disappointing bit is the 1GB internal memory. With such low internal memory only ~100MB will be available to user. 1500mAH Battery is also so-so.
Hopefully A24 will be better.
I hope some manufacturer will make a device that has atleast 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage with large battery and large screen (4.3" or higher) at affordable price.
I bought karbonn A9 and as per the speification of karbonn A9 it says 1gb internal memory, out of which around 500 mb was free for internal storage for apps and games which is sufficient enough for a good android experience. So most probably karbonn A18 will too have similar storage maybe minimum 400 mb of free internal storage. And moreover u can always move apps to SD card.
Of course people will buy Karbonn A18 because they proved themselves in mainstream androids earlier with A5, A7 and A9. And don't forget this A18 has 1GB RAM which was not seen in any phone of this price range, this will make it faster with multitasking. Karbonn A18 just came in market today so there is no review. But soon we will come to see reviews on the net.
Cortex a9 Processor A very Good Processor i Ball Have Used It! But Battery is Quite Disappointing, It dosen't Look Like Handy Like Micromax A100 is.
I think MMX A100 is better.
