Search major Google has now launched the Google +1 (Plus One) button that will help people share the content with their friends and help get more traffic on your site. Almost all websites today have the social networking buttons on the page that visitors can use to share the content they like.
You will soon find many sites using the Google +1 button along with Facebook, Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit and Twitter that are commonly being used. Visitors will be able to recommend your content which will then be shared with their friends and contacts who in turn may also share with their friends and contacts.
Why should you use Google +1?
You may be getting a lot of traffic from Stumbleupon, Digg, Facebook, Reddit and other social sites but this does not mean you completely ignore Google +1. There is one big advantage of +1 button and that is Google. Yes the Google +1 will influence the Google search results. The Google search result snippet will show the Google +1 count. Google will use this count to determine the relevance of a page, so the more the number of share you have the more traffic you will get.

Well surely….. FB likes & Google plus button help. Also creating FB fan pages & Google plus Profile page link, do help. Afterall these are the places on net, where the people get to know you & your work.

Thank you. I have seen this in few websites recently and I wish to have that also.
I just hope that it doesn’t goes that way, because then the newcomers will stand minimal chances of actually getting their content ranked in search engines.
But as per the introductory video, it seems that we’re in an indirect way, going to be affected by this.
