Fronix Aurora II is what Fronix Technologies claim to be the first Jelly Bean dual core tablet to be launched in India. The initial units will however come loaded with ICS OS but can be upgraded to Jelly Bean later on by end of this month.
Fronix is already selling the Fronix Star tablet, you can check the Star review, this tab competes with the recently launched Micromax Funbook Alpha and the VeeDee D13 all of which are sharing the same hardware with some small changes.
The Fronix Aurora II will be powered by a Dual core processor + 4GPU – Rockchip RK3066 (1.6GHz) + Mali 400. The RAM will be 1GB DDR3 and the 7 inch display screen will be of 1024×600 pixels resolution.
Other features are 8GB internal storage and dual cameras. This is all the information we have for now. This tablet will soon be available in the market with ICS OS, but later on by the end of September Fronix will roll out the Jelly Bean update.
Pricing details are not known. The tablet will come with 1 year warranty. Stay tuned for more on the Fronix Aurora II. What do you think the price will be?

What happened to Fronix team? I have mailed them but no answer. They stop replying in their FB page. I have call 2 numbers 9145231821, 9903315276(got from their official site). 1st one says “the no you have called is not recognized” & in case of 2nd no one picked up the phone & said wrong no. Does anyone have any information about Fronix Nova? Did Fronix drop out of market?
Hello sir, when The Fronix Nova tablet http://www.fronixtech.com/nova.html review can we Get from you? I am eagerly waiting. Fronix promises a lot of exciting features in a affordable range. Is it fraud company?? They don’t have any contact number in their official website. Do they have any service center in reality or they only mentioned “We have 42 service centers all over India across 37 cities in 19 states” just for advertisement. I could not find any service center address in Kolkata(West Bengal). I have mailed them but unfortunately No reply. & what about the “Swipe Halo 3g Tab”? Did you have done review on it? Can I connect external keyboard to “Swipe Halo 3g Tab”?

Kiran, they did sent me the the Fronix star tablet a few months back for review and also said will be sending the aurora tab but never did. I am not sure if the company is still doing well.

Gogi, Is the product fake? Did Fronix ship their Star tablet. I have seen a lot of website where the complain is same that no one has received the tab yet.
Hi Gogi, Did you Get the Fronix Aurora II for Reviewing ? i don’t think that this tab is available now. I ordered the tab but no response from the fronix guys. Its the best 7” tablet now(similar to Cube mini U30GT). Since it is unavailable, I am thinking of Ainol Novo 7 Cystal or Ainol Novo 7 Aurora II . Crystal has the best screen wid extreme viewing angles but lesser performance as compared to Ainol Novo 7 aurora II (reviews of international versions). Can you confirm the Indian version of Ainol Novo 7 Crystal operates at what default CPU frequency – they say its 1.5GHz i the specs but the dual core cpu never reaches 1.5GHz.Other International versions were at 1320Mhz(kernel max) but set to 1.2GHz in performance mode in power setting. Can you please tell which one will perform better in terms of Cpu & Gpu performance (Crystal has Quad core Mali 400 GPU while its dual core Mali 400 in Aurora II)

I have very much doubt about the company and product. Can you re-check the Aurora II product page? It shows a new combination of “Windows Metro UI” on Android, Is it possible? Or is it Aurora II with Windows 8?

According to me fronix aurora 2 is a rebranded version of chinese tablet cube U30gt mini , design and configuration simply looked ditto on compressing with aurora 2….
