The awaited Elife E8 from Gionee will be officially launched in India on 8th of October in New Delhi. This handset was recently launched in China for RMB 3999. It is Helio X10 octa core powered and key attraction is the 23.7 megapixel primary camera.
Those waiting for the Elife E8, do note it will be launched on 8th October and could be priced between ₹30,000 to ₹42,000 taking clue from the China price. This indeed is a heavy handset with a weight of around 207 grams. Add to it the 6 inch AMOLED touch screen with Quad HD 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The screen also come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection (CGG3).
E8 is powered by 64 Bit MediaTek Helio X10 2GHz MT6795 octa core processor coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU. Amigo 3.1 based on Lollipop 5.1 runs out of the box with 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and there is micro SD card slot too, to add up to 128GB external cards.
Just like the Elife E7 the Elife E8 will also made for Shooting. It comes with a 23.7MP primary camera with dual tone LED flash support and 4K recording capabilities. The front camera is of 8MP resolution.
This dual SIM handset sports a touch ID based finger print scanner on the rear. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth. The Gionee Elife E8 comes with a 3520 mAh battery and will be launched in India on 8th, stay tuned.
