Airtel today unveiled a new special plan for 4G users. The new plan offers 90 days of free 4G data usage for Rs. 1495. Airtel existing users can available this pack for Rs. 1495 and for new users they can avail this plan by paying Rs. 1494 – as their first recharge.

If you compare this with the reliance Jio plan, Reliance is offering 20GB + unlimited at night for Rs. 1,499 – this will be applicable from 1st January 2017. Now compared to that this Airtel’s 90 days free data plan looks good as there is no data limit mentioned as such.

However the 90 days free Airtel 4G offer does come with fair usage policy or the FUP – this basically means that there will be some kind of restrictions if the customer is consuming too much data, to know more about FUP check this post. Now confirmed 30GB on 4G is the limit for 90 days (under FUP) after that user can continue using net but at lower speed – not 4G.
